16 IP54 variable speed
drives were installed to control chilled water and hot water
process pumps together with AHU ventilation fan motors at a
Berkshire pharmaceutical plant . The in-built PI control was
used on the variable speed drives applied to pumps using
suitable pressure sensors, Timers were provided for AHU fan
control. Overall energy savings in excess of 30% were achieved.
